We offer in-house installation of wood flooring, bamboo flooring, cork flooring, marmoleum click flooring, and light interior carpentry, such as baseboards, moulding, cabinets, stairs, doors, subflooring repairs, light drywall repairs, etc. Currently, this is done by our sister company GB Services, licensed & bonded, ccb # 186818.
For marmoleum sheet flooring and countertop installations, we work with certified Marmoleum/Forbo installers and granite and solid surface fabricators, who are our sub-contractors.

Engineered or Floating Detail

Engineered wood flooring is designed to “float” and not be nailed down. It is real wood in several layers to give it dimensional stability. Many people confuse “engineered” or “floating” wood floors with laminate or “pergo”. Laminate is not real wood; it is printed paper over fiberboard core with a durable finish on it. Engineered flooring is a real layer of hardwood on top, with other layers below.
Many engineered floors are “click-lock” meaning they just click together without glue or staples. Others are straight tongue & groove and get glued together with wood glue. Some engineered floors may be stapled or nailed down.
