FLOR Carpet tiles
FLOR carpet tiles come in many, many styles. Interface FLOR uses recycled materials to make FLOR and will take material back for recycling. FLOR is a low VOC product as well. Most of the FLOR carpet products are synthetic, but there are some natural wool and coir options, as well.
All FLOR tiles are 19.7" x 19.7" with a durable, natural rubber backing. They do not get glue or stapled down. Instead, they get connected together with sticky tabs, provided, and just "float" on your floor surface. Therefore, they can be rearranged, require no toxic messy glues, no carpet pad or tack-strip, and are do-it-yourself friendly. Many are high-traffic, they do not curl or move. They can be taken up, washed individually, and re-installed.
Excellent in temporary situations, in offices, in basements, in living rooms, wall to wall or rug-like applications.
